Channel 4 has commissioned brand new series, which will see Henry and Tom Herbert give traditional British food establishments such as cafes, teashops and bakeries a food makeover – taking the likes of the lardy cake, sausage roll or chocolate éclair into the modern food age. Tom and Henry will take over the kitchens and close the doors to the public to create modern take on traditional classics. At the end of each episode the owners and the public will be invited back in to sample the new signatures dishes which will reflect the produce and specialities of the region.
