Michelin star chef Glynn Purnell is turning his molecular magic to a new restaurant and bar that will open in September. Situated on Newhall Street, Asquith’s & Gingers Bar is a combination of the quality and innovation that fans of Purnell’s have grown to love in a new, contemporary, relaxed setting.
Diners have the flexibility of enjoying a single course from the French-rooted menu in Asquith’s plus a selection of light bites of cured meats, fish, cheese and vegetarian platters, that will also be served from the pantry from 11am – 7pm.
Ginger’s Bar has purchased ten of only twenty bottles of Chase smoked vodka available in the world, so that award- winning general manager Chris Hoy can create signature cocktails and unique blends that are exclusive to Gingers Bar.
Chris will showcase his mixology skills to discerning customers with spirits infused with seasonally inspired food ingredients and liquid nitrogen cocktails. Investment in the latest technology ice machines and juicers and their own oak-aged barrels, will ensure the very best sensory experience for customers that is unique to Birmingham.
