On Wednesday 7th December Saffron’s Chef Sudha Saha will be competing in ITV’s Britain’s Best Dish – The Chefs.
In a special version of the popular TV show, chefs instead of talented amateurs are trying to impress judges John Burton Race, Ed Baines and Jilly Goolden.
Chef Saha will be cooking Pan-fried Wild Sea Bass with spinach and potato gateau and moilee sauce in a bid to win the Best Main Dish. Sudha’s recipe takes its inspiration from south India and exemplifies his preoccupation with balance, nutritional value and the intertwining of ethnic styles. His recipe is also featured in the Britain’s Best Dish recipe book which was published in November.
Britain’s Best Dish – The Chefs airs at 5pm on ITV.
