Christmas Menus

If a traditional roast turkey dinner doesn’t appeal, then there are plenty of restaurants in Warwickshire putting their unique spin on a Christmas meal and seasonal ingredients. Here are some menus that have tickled my tastebuds.

No 9 Stratford upon Avon

A glass of fizz upon arrival, three courses, coffee and mince pies are being offered for £27.50 by Stratford upon Avon’s No 9 restaurant. Choices include Fowler’s Warwickshire Forest Blue, Pear & Walnut Salad, Celeriac Remoulade and Sticky Toffee Christmas Pudding with Brandy Butterscotch Sauce.

Bluebell Henley in Arden

At a  three course lunch (£21) or dinner (£25) at Henley in Arden’s fine dining pub The Bluebell , diners can enjoy Breast of roasted pheasant, leg stuffing, red cabbage, fondant potato, thyme jus or Slow cooked pork shoulder, celeriac mash, buttered savoy, cider & prune jus.

The Granville at Barford

Slow-cooked blade of British Beef, Oxtail Croquette, Horseradish Creamed Potato,

Spinach, Chantenay Carrots & Mulled Wine Jus is one of the main choices from The Granville at Barford’s Christmas menu. A reasonably priced two courses for £19.95 and three courses for £23.95.
