Leamington has a new bar and restaurant in The Regency Arms. Formerly The Newbold Brasserie, the venue has been refurbished and is getting ready for their official opening on Friday 6 September.
The team includes Head Chef Christophe Charpentier, who has led the kitchen brigades at Wilde’s Bistro in Leamington Spa and Castles Bar and Kitchen in Warwick.
General Manager David Aller has more than 20 years experience in pubs and restaurants and says “We believe in quality food and drink at an affordable price. Our menu reflects traditional pub favourites, whilst our specials give the chefs the opportunity to stretch out and do their thing. All our food is fresh, seasonal and sourced from local suppliers.”
With starters of grilled filet of mackerel, tomato and quail egg salad served with a honey and mustard dressing, mains of tidenum duck breast, parsnip purée, green bean faggot and cherry grillotines sauce and all day sharing platters there should be something to tempt everyone’s palate.
As it is the week before their official opening, check their website for details of a special preview offer with 25% off food until Wednesday 4 September. www.regencyarms.co.uk
