Ferguson’s opens in Rugby

On Friday I went along to the preview day for Ferguson’s new restaurant opening in Rugby.

Executive Chef David Ferguson and front of house manager Machile Chansa Machile were on hand to welcome visitors with a coffee and talk through the menu.

Went to Fergusson’s last night with my husband and unfortunately was quite disappointed, food was very well prepared and presented but doesnt taste as good as it looks, fairly bland and vegetables to accompany the dish were over cooked and tasted boiled rather than steamed. Chef was very friendly and polite and chatted to all of the customers for their feedback. Waitresses etc, poorly trained, service no improvement since Vermillion, not attentive sat around and had to grab someones attention for a drink, had to ask for a bread roll, which should of came earlier on, asked for the bill and after 15 minutes of watching the waitress, clean one table, flitter and faff about, we got up and went to the till ourselves. Its a shame as there is potential for this to be a good restaurantithou
