It is not too late to pour some sunshine into your life at a rum tasting, indulge in five desserts and celebrate the end of the game season with these three events from Island Bar, Sweet As and The One Elm.
As the pre-cursor to Island Bar’s new Tiki menu launch on Thursday 27 February, they have invited some of the finest rum brands to showcase their extensive range with a tailored tasting. The Rum Clubs start at 7pm and feature Appleton Rum on Tuesday 18 February and Mezan, RL Seale and J. Bally on Tuesday 25 February.
If you have a sweet tooth, a date for your diary is the Sweet As Pudding Society on Thursday 27 February. With a glass of bubbles on arrival and a light main course, five desserts plus the signature Sweet As chocolate box will be served for £25 per person. The One Elm in Stratford upon Avon will host a culinary celebration of special game dishes to mark the end of British gaming season. Starters include pigeon kiev, potted rabbit, venison carpaccio and quail ballatine. Mains include game Bourguignon, pot roast guineafowl, Balmoral venison steak and rabbit and mushroom papperdelle.
