Congratulations to Broom Hall Inn and The One Elm for scooping accolades at the Pride of Stratford awards.
Hospitality business of the year
In September 2008, after years of decline, Broom Hall (which originally dates back to 1577) was brought by its current owners. Now completely renovated, Broom Hall is a thriving and successful pub, restaurant and hotel. Offering a quiet drink in a friendly bar with log fires, or a meal in the sophisticated restaurant, Broom Hall ensures it can cater for all expectations.
Customer Care Award
The One Elm is a friendly neighbourhood pub a stone’s throw away from the centre of Stratford, busy with locals and visitors to the town, all day long. Although it’s on the tourist trail, it remains a proper pub, dishing up good honest plates of home-cooked food, locally brewed ales, decent wines and warm friendly hospitality in equal measure.
