Hop over the Great Western Arcade and you could be tucking into a new Supper Club menu especially for Easter, from the vegetarian restaurant Bistro 1847.
Chef Alex Claridge explains why he is excited about the evening.
“Easter is an exciting time in the kitchen. Our native crops are coming in and with that comes an increasing arsenal of colour, texture and delicate flavours from which to choose. Our first supper club menu captures just that with lots of bright colour, fresh herbs and florals and I hope a lighter, playful touch.
“If you fancy a tipple, we’ve also concocted an exclusive special menu of cocktails and wine and whisky matching for this evening.”
The five course menu includes;
edible flowers, garden herb, goats’ curd, candied beetroot
lovage and herb soup, ricotta fritters
fennel and blue tarte tartin, spring pickles, hay and honey-roast potato
smoked whisky fudge
rhubarb and ginger bakewell, brown bread ice cream.
The dinner starts at 7.30pm and guests will be seated on one shared table. The Easter Supper costs £35 per person. http://bistro1847.com
