I met Annalise from Landgirls Cookery School at last year’s Rugby Food and Drink Festival as she demo-ed making cake pops. I loved her vintage dress topped with a flamboyant pink hair and the way she made cooking sound so easy and enjoyable.
As well as teaching preserve making classes in Hartshill Warwickshire, Landgirls Cookery School has made their own chutneys, cordials, jams, pickles and vinegars for a number of years.
This gave them the idea of create a new business. Off the Tree is an online shop for people can buy the popular fruit vinegars and huge selection of jams, made using only natural ingredients and in most cases only citric acid as a preservative.
