The Flying Cows take on UK Burger Battle

As if Ahmed Kage isn’t busy enough with his pop-up Rib Nights, he is now launching a new challenge to find the best burger in the UK at Spotlight, Digbeth on Sunday 14 December.

Each month, diners compare burgers from two different teams and vote for their favourite with the winner announced on the night.

The competition piqued my interest because The Flying Cows from Rugby are taking on The Beefy Boys in the first round.

Chef Dan Bachelor set up The Flying Cows three years ago, using beef from pedigree grass-fed Dexter cattle from his family farm at Princethorpe. A regular at Digbeth Dining Club, Dan can be found at street food markets across the Midlands.

Wish Dan luck in his attempt to create the best burger in the UK! Tickets for UK Burger Battle at £20 can be bought from bit.ly/UKburgerbattle
