So next week, my fluid intake will consist mainly of gin. But no ordinary gin. Birmingham’s very own Langleys No.8 is having a party with a week of celebrations and tastings for their new serve ‘G&B’ a blend featuring tonic water, a wedge of pink grapefruit and fresh basil leaves.

On Tuesday, Global Brand Ambassador Jonathan Zammit-Tabona will be running a masterclass in the Hyatt, talking about the history while you enjoy four different drinks and some tasty canapés. Tickets are £15 from 7 – 8.30pm from eventbrite

Loki, in the Great Western Arcade is Wednesday’s venue for the Langleys story told by co-founder Mark Dawkins, while guests enjoy Langleys No.8 classics, including the G&B. From 6pm tickets are £15 available from Loki

Thursday sees a special promotion of Langleys G&B available at £5 at bars across the city centre, which will be revealed on Twitter and Facebook.

Finishing the weekend, on Saturday and Sunday  the Langleys pop-up bar will be at Harvey Nichols in The Mailbox, from noon to 8pm, serving three new cocktails inspired by the store.
