Leamington Food Assembly launch

Today (Tuesday) Leamington gets its very own Food Assembly.

This new social enterprise enables  you to buy fresh, ethically sourced food directly from local farmers and producers in and around Warwickshire.

There are 700 Food Assemblies in the UK and Europe with five in the Midlands, but this is the first one to open in Warwickshire.

What?

The Food Assembly

Think of it as an online Farmers Market where you get to support local producers. Simply join the scheme and shop online, then collect your orders from the weekly pop-up market.

Who?

Leamington Food Assembly producers

Some of the producers who have already joined include;
Bread For Life
Kate’s Bakes
The Veg Box

Producers receive over 80% of the purchase price compared to 10 – 15% they would by selling to supermarkets so this is an excellent way to support your local community.

Where?

The White Horse Leamington Spa

Collect your orders from the producers every Tuesday at The White Horse in Clarendon Road from 6 – 7.30pm.
