Hogmannay may seem like a distant memory, but here in Rugby a bistro is recreating a Highland Fling for the Summer.
Ferguson’s restaurant is going on a gastronomic tour. On Friday 20 May the first stop is head chef and owner David Ferguson’s native Scotland. Guests will enjoy a traditional menu of traditional favourites Cullen Skink, smoked haddock chowder, haggis, neeps and tatties, then succulent Scottish sirloin steak and stovies, rounded off with a raspberry and whisky infused desert of cranachan. Live music will entertain diners from 7.30pm
David says: “Ferguson’s is a modern British and European restaurant where we like to put our own twist on dishes. We have created three special dinners to have some fun with other cuisine and give our guests a taste of the world.”
The holiday atmosphere at Ferguson’s continues with two more special dinners, a Brazilian carnival in June and an English summer in July. The Scottish dinner costs £27.50 per person, call 01788 550222 to book .
