A six course meal for two is the prize for the lucky winner in a competition launched by chef Ben Tesh.
With only 24 spaces available per night at his summer residency, tickets are selling fast. Last week his menu featured cured mackerel with emulsion of oyster, scallop with hogweed buds, corn-fed guinea fowl and burnt cream with hazelnuts. Diners can expect the finest seasonal and locally sourced ingredients that pack a flavoursome punch.
Ben’s ability to deliver on taste made his first launch night back in May a sell-out success. Ben says: “I am excited to be back at Urban Coffee Company for the Summer. It gives me the time to hone my menus, craft exciting new dishes and build a rapport with customers over the 27 nights we will be here.”
To enter the competition just follow both Dine Birmingham and Ben Tesh on twitter and RT the tweet that will be published tonight at 7pm and Friday at 4pm before the competition closes on Sunday night.
If you miss out on this fab prize, the Ben Tesh pop-up is running every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night throughout July and August at the Urban Coffee Company in Church Street Birmingham. The dinner costs £39.50 and a matching wine flight for £20 is also available.
