A Be’GIN’ers Guide – The Sequel
The Plough Inn, Harborne, Birmingham
Learn the whistle stop history of gin and its impact on British society. Hosted by Gin Raconteur Carl Hawkins, in his guise as ‘The Gintleman., Set in The Plough’s upstairs private room guests receive an arrival G&T ,sample four gins then construct your own unique G&Ts using a selection of boutique tonics and creative garnishes. From 7 – 10pm tickets are £25 and available on Eventbrite.

Edgbaston’s lovely gastro pub will be firing up the BBQ from 2 – 6pm and there’ll be gin, lots of gin!Tickets are £10 and include a G & T on arrival, complimentary gin goblet and gin tasters. There’ll be appearances from some great brands plus adult slush puppies and tasty ice lollies from Birmingham newcomers Creamed Pops.

This class offers a tutored tasting of six gins from small, independent producers and a talk on the history of gin by the Gin Tasting Group. The group loves gin and sharing their knowledge of the production, history and service of this well loved spirit..From 6.30pm the upstairs room in this historic pub will be full of juniper fans.
