Kington Winter Food Festival
This festival has been running for fourteen years and is a staple in Herefordshire diaries. This year’s festival will span five different venues from the market hall and coach house to Kington Centre at the opposite end of the high street. With over 90 stalls and a pop-up cocktail bar.

Join the Fayre team for an evening of festive flavours, meet over 20 fr their food and drink producers, sample the Fayre chefs festive nibbles fresh from the AGA, live music, hamper wrapping, gifts and fabulous raffle prizes raising funds for the Gatehouse Homeless project. It promises to be an evening of high spirits! From 5pm – 9pm.

Sparkling gifts and festive local produce, homemade and homespun crafts, handmade cakes and bespoke decorations, a wide range of stalls offering a range of delights, traditional roast chestnuts, warming mulled wine, ciders and gin, linger over the luxury of Bailey’s chocolate. The Victorian Market will include local makers, an international area, and an extensive choice of festive street food. Friday and Saturday open from 10am – 9pm, Sunday 10am to 5pm.

The Old Crown’s beer garden is being transformed into an alpine retreat with a heated marquee, fur-lined benches, pine trees, falling snow and fairy lights to enjoy dishes like fondue and raclette. DJ’s and live music for £10 entry.

Beginner’s Vegetable Fermentation workshop

RAWR at Trentham Gardens is hosting a Beginner’s “Hands-On” Wild Fermentation workshop. Emma at Wild Pickle will take you through some history, a little science and the magic of fermentation and show you how to make sauerkraut and some other fermented foods. 7 – 10pm for £30.
