Warwick Rocks are holding another Chocolate Festival with even more chocolate than last year, spread across the whole town. Think artisan chocolate, dipping chocolate, chocolate cake, and perhaps even chocolate beer! From 11am – 5pm.

Salt restaurant Stratford upon Avon dry aged pork belly

Thursday 9th November Champagne Tasting Dinner Salt, Stratford upon Avon

Florence Bauchet, owner of Champagne Bauchet will join guests to present her range of champagnes, matched with a special three course menu from Paul Foster which includes; Berkswell cheese and hazelnut gougeres, 60 day aged grass fed beef and pumpkin pie, crispy meringue, fig and muscavado puree. Arrival for canapés at 6.30pm, with service to start at 7pm. This event costs £70 per person which includes matching champagnes, canapés on arrival, tea/coffee and petit fours to finish.

Friday 10th November, Charcuterie & Cheese Dinner, Lodge Restaurant, Ardencote Hotel, Stratford upon Avon

Hosted by Harvey & Brockless who will be providing an in depth insight into the modern British cheeses and charcuterie featured at the event. Platters and dishes that showcase the best artisan produce, including a dish of Roast Loin of Staffordshire Orchard Reared Pork. Tickets are priced £32.50 per person, which also includes coffee and chocolates to finish.

A new event by the Digbeth Dining Club, together with Original Patty Man to bring twelve of the UK’s finest BBQ & meat traders come together for a day dedicated to meat, BBQ, rotisserie and seared meat. All alongside a selection of craft ales and lagers plus cocktail and gin bars. From noon to 8pm.

An opportunity to taste many different styles of port made in this world-famous port house – just in time for your Christmas shopping. Tom Selby Edge from Liberty wines will talk guests through the history of port production and how the different styles of port are made. The wines will be matched to a four course meal for £79 per person, including arrival drink & canapés.

From 10am to 5pm producers will showcase the country’s best chocolatiers. With workshops, demonstrations and tastings this event is free to enter.

Sauce Supper Club is hosting a Michelin star spectacular with a champagne reception and stunning six-course menu – designed and delivered by six different Michelin star chefs and their teams. The exciting line up of world-class chefs, who will each serve one course, is: Tom Kerridge; Luke Tipping; Brad Carter; Richard Turner; Rob Palmer and Adam Bennett. Tickets for this special evening are available at £150 per head.

The event will start at 7pm and will feature a five course tasting style menu celebrating the Game Season for £55 per person.

Dr Annie Gray food historian

Monday 27th November, Mrs Beeton’s Christmas Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron, Telford

Join food historian, TV and radio presenter Dr Annie Gray  as she gives a festive-themed talk looking at Christmas in mid-Victorian times through the eyes of Isabella Beeton. Tea and coffee will be served from 6.30pm ahead of the talk, which starts at 7pm and will be followed by a question and answer session at around 8pm. Tickets are free but must be pre-booked as places are limited.
