Head Chef Didier Philipot has only been at Edmunds for a month, but he is already generating excitement amongst existing and new customers.
For his Spring menu, Didier says that diners can expect “Some of the best produce available, classic honest cooking with a modern touch and a fantastic gourmet time”.
On the Review page, you’ll find details of a sublime meal that I enjoyed there last week. Bon appétit!

Didier Philipot has been confirmed as the new Head Chef for Edmunds in Brindleyplace to replace Andy Waters. Didier was formerly head chef at Brockencote Hall before opening his own restaurant Torque D’Or in the Jewellery Quarter. Torque D’Or had a bistro feel about it and was one of the best places in Birmingham for French cuisine, with two AA rosettes. Unfortunately the restaurant closed, but Didier remained working in the West Midlands. It is great to have him back in Birmingham!
Details of where to buy Lashford sausages for British sausage Week; a Gourmet Italian Dinner at Edmunds restaurant and the BBC Winter Good Food Show are available on the Events page.
