Fresh local produce and a picturesque setting are on offer at Grandborough’s new farmers’ market in Warwickshire.
Running on the first Thursday of every month from 10am till 12.30pm, the market will sell a range of food and crafts as well as tea and biscuits against the backdrop of the village’s church – which is helping run it all.
Market manager Peter Johnson believes it will help bring the village together. He said: “Grandborough is a sleepy little village and this is the first time we’ve tried to put something like this together. It’ll be a steep learning curve but I think it will benefit the village all round.”
